History

1K Nation was founded on August 3, 2011 through the inspiration of the Bible to reach and teach young men how to live righteously. Our sole aim is to carry out the Great Commission.

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Each day, young men journey through life without direction and find themselves yielding to the temptations that surround them due to the absence of positive male role models. As a result, they make poor decisions that alter their lives – leading them down the path towards destruction. With this vision, a team of leaders joined together with a goal to reverse the negative cycle of our youth. On November 1, 2014, 1K Nation opened its doors and connected with 14 young men from local schools and the surrounding community and began providing mentor-ship and Bible based programming geared towards changing the course of their actions.
